ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION

 As language skills are central to all human, social and intellectual endeavour, we aim at:
1.providing students with the opportunity to develop the maximum degree of functional competence in English of which he / she is capable, in particular competence in those domains of use which are specially appropriate to the Hong Kong situation;
2.promoting students' interest, through extensive exposure, so that the learning of English language is pleasurable, interesting, purposeful and rewarding.
3.utilising IT in English Language Education to encourage active learning and enhance self-learning skills.

  • to prepare students for their future studies and career

  • to provide authentic settings for students to learn English

  • Infusing life planning education into different teaching units to help students understand their interests, abilities and career preferences and explore different types of jobs available in the market
