The Thanksgiving Mass of the 35th Anniversary of YCK2 and the Opening Ceremony of the School Lift 35

On 11th January, 2017, Yu Chun Keung Memorial College No.2 held its 35th Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass and the School Lift Opening Ceremony. Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing officiated at the mass and the ceremony. He prayed for the blessing of the Lord on the school for a bright future with strong and uplifted spirit. The guests and students, with prayers and singing of hymns, gave their thanks to the Lord for His blessings on the school. Principal Li gave his vote of thanks to the guests for taking their time to attend the ceremony and to teachers and students for their efforts in organizing the 35th anniversary celebration. He hoped that students could make continuous achievements on the foundation of love and harmony.

After the Mass, Bishop Ha hosted the Opening Ceremony of the newly built School Lift with Deputy Secretary for Education, Dr Catherine Chan Ka-ki. Dr Chan praised the school for its continuous innovations in educational development and appreciated the special rooms it had set up. Finally, Principal Li took the guests to the special rooms to let them understand the latest development of our school.

余振強紀念第二中學於一月十一日，在學校禮堂舉行創校三十五周年校慶感恩祭，凝聚了嘉賓和全校師生的熱忱。當日得蒙天主教香港教區夏志誠輔理主教主禮。在感恩祭中夏主教帶領學生祈禱及詠唱，感謝上主的恩典，並同心祈求上主祝福學校「振奮堅強，共創未來」。李德輝校長致謝辭，感謝各界賢達撥冗蒞臨和全體師生協力籌辦校慶的活動，盼望學校在「愛與和諧」的基礎下，學生持續創造「成就」。

感恩祭後，夏主教繼續為本校新落成的「升降機」祝福，並聯同教育局副秘書長陳嘉琪博士為「升降機」主持揭幕，陳博士致詞讚揚本校為教育發展不斷創新，建設十大教室推動改革，值得欣賞。最後，李校長帶同所有嘉賓逐一參觀各大教室，了解本校的最新發展。
