The 20th Inter-school Bird Race 學界觀鳥比賽

Organised by the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and the Hong Kong Wetland Park, the 20th Inter-school Bird Race was held despite the challenges that arose from the pandemic. Moving from the wetland to online, participants were given pictures, videos and bird calls as clues to identify the species and characteristics of various birds in Hong Kong under the guidance of our Biology teacher. It was a delightful and rewarding learning experience! The Science Team looks forward to having more students participating in this competition next year!

1月30日，同學參加了第二十屆學界觀鳥比賽。比賽由香港觀鳥會、漁農自然護理署及香港濕地公園舉辦。雖然疫情下，比賽由濕地公園移師至網上，但仍無阻同學的學習興致，生物科老師與參賽同學一起憑著大會提供之圖像、影片及鳥鳴聲去辨認本地雀鳥。各人盡力展現觀鳥技巧，熱情投入，獲益良多。期望下次可以有更多同學感受這類活動的愉悅。
