Caring for the community 生命連動

The pandemic has greatly affected different social contacts, but it does not prevent our students from showing their care to the elderly. On 24th May, the social workers of TWGHs Cross Centre led a group of students to make and give small gifts for the elderly living in elderly homes. Students were delighted when the social workers shared a short video of the elderly’s response after receiving the gifts. This activity helps students realise that everyone is capable of caring for the community.

疫情影響了社交接觸，但無礙我們為長者送上心意。5月24日，東華三院越峰成長中心在健康校園計劃「生命連動」中帶領同學為院舍的長者親製小禮物。社工於一星期後與同學分享長者收禮物後的回應短片，並進行活動回饋，讓同學體會到每個人也有足夠力量去關懷社區。
